Another closely related term is Yì 意 meaning Intent, which is governed by the Yin (Oyeku) energy of the Mind (Upper DanTian, centre of WuJi) and the Guts (Lower DanTian, centre of LiangYi), and is poisoned Doubt (Àní-Àní) which can be Mindless or Gutless. There’s also a saying: Yì Dào Qì Dào 意到氣到 meaning (first) Yì 意 comes, (then) Qì 氣 comes. Qì 氣 being the Yang (Ogbe) life-force energy governed by the Heart (Middle DanTian, centre of TaiJi).
