This hexagram represents inverting Mid Decline (Semi Darkness, represented by Fire) to Peak Darkness (Peak Depth, represented by Earth). Like converting Sunset to Midnight, or Autumn to Winter.

In Tai Chi terms, it represents a combination that can be called Spit Sink (Tou Cam 吐沉) in Southern terminology, or Àn Lǚ 按捋 in Northern terminology.
Sleeping Tiger
